Marina Demand Study, North
Wales
Client: Gwynedd Council
Working alongside Newidiem, the leading
economic development consultancy in Wales, we were
commissioned to carry out a market demand assessment to
gauge the future demand for marina berths in Gwynedd. The
study involved an extensive consultation exercise with key
stakeholders, an analysis of the drive-time and demographic
data and an analysis of the latest trends within the leisure
and tourism sectors with particular focus on sailing and
other watersports.
Brighton
Marina, East Sussex
Client: Private Investor
We investigated the market opportunity to create a new
concept restaurant within the latest commercial phase of
development at Brighton Marina. This involved carrying out
an assessment of the market, including reviewing the
demographic profile, an analysis of the tourist and eating
out sectors, the exploration of the product and service
offering and financial appraisal. Brighton Marina is one of
the south coast’s innovative marina developments, which
benefits from its links to Brighton.
Bedgebury, Kent
